Railway Industry Cluster Saxony (BTS - Bahntechnik Sachsen) |
BTS was launched in 2006 by the Saxon State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport. Since then, PwC has been responsible for the project management of BTS.
Primary concern of BTS is stabilizing and strengthening competitiveness and efficiency of the Saxon railway technology sector and the associated non-productive industries by strategic cluster development in national and international markets by improving the supraregional perception of Saxony as a location for railway industry as well as the companies' long-term provision of qualified employees. The goal is the consolidation of the branch and to safeguard employment in Saxony.
